Dr. Munavvar Izhar is a Nephrologists, Hypertension and Renal transplant specialist. He has practiced for 25 to 30 years both in academia and in private practice. He was in academia as an Instructor and Associate Professor at the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and subsequently after a few years transitioned into Private Nephrology practice. After practicing Nephrology for over 2 decades, now he is involved in teaching other nephrologists and internists. Currently, he has devised popular online ABIM Board Certification and Recertification courses as well as a Maintenance of Certification (MOC) course for Nephrologists/internists and family practitioners. He is also involved in placements of foreign medical and international medical graduates (FMGs/IMGs) so that they can gain meaningful United States clinical skills experience (USCSE) for residency applications in the United States. He helps Foreign Medical graduates and international medical graduates from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe who have immensely benefited from appropriate placements in residency programs.
